Born in Milan in 1964.
Graduated in Law from the University of Milan in 1988, notary in Milan since 1994, associate professor since 1998 and full professor since 2001.
Full Professor of Commercial Law at the Bocconi University of Milan, he was director of the PhD in Commercial Law at the University of Brescia and then director of the Phd in Legal Studies at the Bocconi University of Milan.
He is the author and editor of numerous books, articles, manuals and commentaries in the fields of business, company and financial market law. Member of the management and editorial board of some national journals, including: “Osservatorio del diritto civile e commerciale” (Il Mulino), “Contratto e impresa” (Cedam), “Rivista delle società” (Giuffré).
Member, president or coordinator of various institutional and academic bodies, including: Commissione Studi d’Impresa of the National Council of Notaries (member since 2004); Commissione Società of the Notary Council of Milan (member since 2000 and coordinator since 2010); Scientific Committee of “AssoAIM” (president from 2020).
He has been director and member of the control bodies of listed and unlisted companies, including: Camfin S.p.A., Kairos Partners SGR S.p.A., Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A., RCS Media Group S.p.A., Luxottica Group S.p.A., Delfin s.a.r.l., Banca Mediolanum S.p.A., ENI S.p.A.
He acts as legal advisor to industrial and financial groups, as well as national and international arbitrator in the fields of corporate law, contracts and financial markets.
